Hi, I have a problem with printing pdf files that were exported from openoffice directly using the export to pdf function. cups says, it sends it to the printer, and then on the printer, nothing happens.
There is no problem when I print the document from openoffice, and then create a pdf file from within kprinter. The pdf file created by kprinter is no problem to print. I am not sure how the pdf export is implemented in openoffice, but I think it is done internally. Do I can tell openoffice to use e.g. external ghostscript to create the pdf files? Or do I can "remove" the "export to pdf" function from the menu, so that when the users want to create a pdf, then they have to use the kprinter? I'm on opensuse 10.3, and tried with different openoffice versions, including latest stable release. kind regards Sebastian --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
