Well scratch that. Even OOo 1.1.5 doesn't handle 17 year old files (the
file was created April 11, 1995).

However, as I mentioned previously, I managed to open in MS PowerPoint
2002 using the MS old document/files converter. If you can't get the
file converted to MS PowerPoint 97/2000/XP, drop me a note with
OpenOffice in the subject & I'll be happy to forward a version to you
that you can read and open in OpenOffice (both in PPT and ODP format).
