     Burn a copy the downloaded OpenOffice.org file onto a CD. Use the CD to 
install it onto the the "save" computer. If you are going to be using Base 
for any reason, make sure a recent copy of JRE (Java Runtime Environment) is 
burned onto the CD and installed. During the installation, you should be 
asked if you want OOo to check for updates. (You don't for this computer.) 
Otherwise, you can turn off this function using Tools > Options > 
OpenOffice.org > Online updates.
