Hello, the switch from the laptop screen to an external screen does not depend on OpenOffice.org but on the laptop model. On my Compaq I have to press Function (a button in the bottom left corner) together with F4. I do not know what the key combination for the IBM laptops is (probably function + F2???). If you could provide the exact model I am sure there is someone here who knows.
