Well - if you are bold ( your in college right - young and impetuous I
hope therefore - ) and wouldn't mind trying a hot off the presses
development build you could go to

Then download the Mac OSXAquaIntel M4 build, released for testing today.

As far as I know that only major problem there is with the Base module
with embedded HSQLdb databases.
I REPEAT this is a developer snapshot build...not a final release product.
Another option is to use the NeoOffice.og derivative instead...but don't
tell anyone I told you that...I could be shunned...*chuckling*
