I continually have the following problems with Open Office Writer and Calc.
1. Unable to Save documents. Click on Save As link and nothing happens.
It does not open the window to select the sub-directory or enter a file
name. The program will only allow the Save function with an Untitled Name.
2. Unable to Open documents. Select File, Open and no window appears to
select the file. As a result, I have to go to Windows Explorer to select
the file.
Note: In some cases, the Save and Open functions work properly, but I have
this problem many times per day. I have also tried closing Open Office and
restarting, plus closing all programs and rebooting my PC, but nothing
works.
O/S: Windows NT Professional
I would appreciate any advice on how to correct these issues.
