Is that the path that s shown in your OpenOffice.org/Preferences/
OpenOffice.org/Java window ?
My OS is Leopard 10.5.1, I guess there might be some problem there...
Thank's again

Dear all,
when starting OO on Mac Os X, I get the following message.
javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
This is not a big problem, everything works fine, except for
Macros.
If I want to run macros apparently I need a JRE.
I know a JRE is installed on Mac OS X, but I can't find where it
is, and even if I knew I wouldn't know how to tell OO to use that
JRE...
Thank you in advance for any help...
Luca
JRE should be in /Application/Utilities.To enable go to
OpenOffice.org/Preferences/OpenOffice.org/Java.
Select 'Use a Java runtime environment'. OOo usually searches for
available versions of JRE. Select the newest version. If it
doesn's list any, click Add and set the JRE location.
Thanks.
Java is indeed installed at the location you suggest, but I tried
to add that in the openoffice.org preferences and I get the message
"The folder you selected does not contain a Java Runtime
Environment."
Luca
My apologies. That is the location for the JRE settings. I rechecked
and the path being used on my system is
"/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.5.0/Home
