I am using stock OO 2.3 that comes bundled with Ubuntu 7.10. I had created a presentation with OO 2.2.x version (openSUSE 10.2). In the lower left corner of each slide, I had a text box with my copyright and Lic. attribution.
When I upgraded to Ubuntu 7.10 and opened the file with OO 2.3 Impress, it opened the file fine but inserted my name in the same area of the copyright and Lic. attribution. In the attached picture (sample slide) I have removed the other stuff to show where my name is being auto inserted by OO. I hope this list server allows attachments. I do not want my name to appear on every slide of the presentation. I blanked out my name in the Tools>Options>UserData but to no avail. I did some Google search but did not come across anything of help. If anyone knows how to remove it, please let me know. TIA, -- Arun Khan
