I've just installed the Mac port of 2.3.0 on a PPC Mac mini running OS X 10.5.1. In general, everything appears to work...
...but upon startup: 0. I see the X11 client start, followed by an xterm window. 1. Next, I see a dialog appear stated "command timed out". 2. Then eventually OOo starts, however, sometimes I see the OOo Document Recovery dialog appear. So far, this hasn't been a problem... ...but I'm curious. Am I correct assuming that this 2.3.0 port is still an X application which OS X is starting the X11 client to handle calls? If this is correct, why is an xterm starting too? Is there something I should do to avoid the OOo Document Recovery dialog? Thanks for any insight shared.
