I use Open Office 2.3 on Windows XP.
I receive articles written by a cancer research team using Word and
EndNote (versions unknown at present).
When I open the documents, the in-text EndNote bibliography references
are invisible, and simply appear as spaces. When I correct the
punctuation (what I see as unnecessary spaces), I effectively remove the
references.
Any solutions would be much appreciated, as this is now delaying work. I
would rather avoid purchasing Office Pack if I can avoid it, as I
strongly promote Open Office to all our students.
