Hello The problem with Mac OS 10.2.8 is that it is rather old. The team at OpenOffice.org that works on the version for Mac is too small to keep bringing out new versions for old Mac versions. Even for Panther (10.3), no new versions will be made it seems. For Jaguar (10.2.x), you'll have to install this 'Legacy Build' version 1.1.2 (the latest stable version of OpenOffice.org is 2.3.1, and 3.0 comes later this year...) http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/download/x11-102.html If you know how to do it, you might install a second partition on the hard disk of your Mac and install some version of Linux there. You can then run OpenOffice.org 2.3.1 (and newer) on this Linux partition.
