Just a note of thanks to the folks that created the File|New|Labels wizard/template, and of course one complaint... where would be be without complaints? :-)
I'd not used the File|New|Labels feature in OOo since 2.0.x and last evening wife came home and needed to 'immediately' create some labels for a trade show in the morning. Fired up OOo & selected File|New|Labels and the correct label style (Avery 5660) - viola, label sheet came up & she created the first label - no problems at all. So then she wanted to populate the frames with the label... she's in a hurry, I'm halfway into a nice bottle of wine, and for the life of me I can't remember how to easily populate the other frames. So, I have her copy & paste to each. Now she want's to create another sheet with another address - can't figure out how to add a second page so I have her create another File|New|Labels and do the same. All worked, labels printed and I'm safe for the moment. Afterwards I go back, and remembering that there *is* a way to automatically fill/sync the labels on the sheet, I rediscover File|New|Labels|Options|Syncronize contents. Start a new File|New|Labels, fill in the first label, hit the now visible "Syncronize Labels" button and, shzam! all of the labels a filled. How cool is that!? I guess my only complaint would be that the 'Syncronize contents' isn't apparent at the onset when you bring up File|New|Labels. A note at the start pointing to this feature would be most helpful. Nor are you able to go back in a plain File|New|Labels document where you've neglected to set the 'Syncronize contents' and set it in that document after the fact. Does anyone know how to do this last? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
