This is an English language list; if you prefer to discuss your problem in French please send your e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and/or visit www.fr.openoffice.org Your best solution is to persuade your correspondents to use OpenOffice. It's free and its ODF formats conform to International (ISO) Standards which MS Office formats do not. Second you could suggest your correspondents install the ODF plugin for MS Office. This free software lets MS Office read and save OpenOffice documents. Get it from http://www.sun.com/software/star/openoffice/index.xml Next you could save/send your document as a PDF which most people will be able to read but not edit/change. Use "Save As" or Export; see the Help text in Writer. Last you could save/send your document in MS Office format. Use "Save As" or Send; again, see the Help Text. -- Harold Fuchs London, England Please reply *only* to [email protected]
