Doesn't work. I can't find any way to get the .csv file into Base. I
created a new database in Base, then went to Open, but when I selected
the .csv file OOo opened it in Calc, not Base.

Can you give a step by step for how you did it? Like, starting from
launching the app (e.g., did you launch Base, Calc, what?). Then
exactly what did you do next? E.g., if in Base, did you click Create
New Database, Open Existing Database, or what?

I'm on Linux, but as far as I know the only problem is reading an MS
Access database, which should not affect opening a .csv.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm still trying to merge my data into a
Writer document. There must be a way.
