[users] unable to print from openoffice.org

Hello, 
I am having a problem trying to print documents when using openoffice.org. When 
I hit print the program does not respond. I have checked my printer and it is 
working for all other computers in my house hold. The computer I am using 
openoffice.org is operating on vista and the computer that the printer is 
hooked up to is operating XP. I have downloaded the patch to bridge the gap and 
still nothing. If you have any suggestions or a fix please advise me on what to 
do.
