Since you can open files, it's obvious that OpenOffice has installed
properly. This means there should be an OpenOffice folder and icons in
your Start menu. Are they there?
You can have both OpenOffice and Microsoft Office on the same computer,
as I do at work, so the expired version should not cause problems.
