Two things to do: 1. Change the Temporary files path to a standard directory (Tools|Options|OpenOffice.org|Paths|Temporary files). The /tmp files are cleared by your OS when you close a program or reboot - changing the path to a standard directory/folder will ensure that the OOo temp files are still there after a crash/close. 2. Enable "Always create backup copy" (Tools|Options|Load/Save|General|Save) - that will only save a backup copy every time you save a file, but if you save frequently - especially if you have an unstable system - you will at least have something to fall back on. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
