I have 2 almost identical slides.
The 2nd is just an arrow.
Having the picture twice seems wasteful.
Is there an efficient way of showing a slide and then drawing
arrows/circles to highlight something?

Hello,
If you are concerned about the size of the file, you may link the
image rather than embedding it in the presentation.
Drawing on a slide is possible in presentation mode, but unfortunately
the tool is very... underdeveloped (basically a very thin light green
line with no options to change colour or thickness). To activate the
"mouse as pen" tick the corresponding box in Slide Show > Slide show
settings dialog.
Cheers,
Michele

Ca n I link to an existing slide because that would work.
