The background: OS: PCLinuxOS 2007 OOo version: 2.3.1 The aim: Create presentation in OOo at home to show at school using PowerPoint.
The problem: My granddaughter has mistakenly ticked the "link" box when importing some (fortunately not _all_) of the pictures she is using from file, so that they are invisible on my computer (OOo 2.0.4), and will certainly not be visible at school. The only way I can find (after searching fairly extensively) of remedying the situation is to delete the picture and start again - taking care not to tick the box. Since the picture then has to be resized to fit its allocated spot this is a little bit of a fiddle - but worse, I can't therefore put the ones already wrong right for her and she will have to do it herself. (And I don't want her put off OOo :-( ) Solution? Is there a way of simply altering the instructions for an already imported picture?
