I changed a record in a table and when I tried to select a different

All I have is an OK button and a close window button. Neither works -
the error message keeps popping back up. Trying to reselect the record
that was just changed also keeps popping the error message back up.
It looks as though I'm going to have to kill Base. When I do I hope it
doesn't destroy the several hours of work making changes to the
database. Or worse, corrupt the database, which would cost an entire
day's work since the automatic backup last night.
This is OOo 2.3 on Linux.
hmmm- so you decided to actually leave the data in a Kexi database
instead of importing to a Base file.
Well, conceivably you should not lose more then the last record update
as Base by default is running in Auto Commit = True.mode.
Also, I don't know if this would work with Base <> Kexi but in a
standard Base file when I have caused some record to refuse to update,
then I can just close the error dialog and hit escape to reset the
record buffer to it's contents before I stated the last update.
