Thanks. I decided to make a copy of the Kexi file for just in case. After all, if the change to the record did not go through, then the existing file after the previous change should be fine. I crossed my fingers, threw salt over my shoulder, and muttered incantations as I did so. Then I closed the table window. Base bitched that the last changes had not been saved, but I told it to close the table anyway. Then I reopened the table and all was well. In fact, the record that it complained that it could not update had, in fact, been updated. Then I made yet another copy of the Kexi database, and continued working. Several more times Base gave me the same warning message. And each time I just closed the table window and reopened it. So far no great harm done except that I now have gray hairs starting to grow. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
