Hello. I am recently equiped with a PC with Vista Premium family edition. I downloaded OOo_2.3.1_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_fr.exe and uncompressed the installation files. Since the installation wizard started, I got a message indicating that an earlier version of OpenOffice.org2.3 was detected and that it was needed to be uninstalled before installing an older one. Unfortunatly there is no Open Office software on my machine, neither listed in the programms sharing window of the configuration panel.
Can some body help me in solving this problem? Thank you very much.
