"I am trying to create a fill-in prompt field in a Writer text document.
In a letter w/ normal garden-variety merge fields , I want to allow the
writer to be prompted to enter free text and then have that text print
out as an integrated part of the letter.
Windows XP, SP2, OOo 1.5.1 (we have to use this v. in our software
because of the way the field function works...)
I'm not sure if this is a variation on a merge field or if it needs to
be part of a created template or if there is another way to approach this.
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated."
