Sounds like you Antivirus (AV) software thinks the file is a virus. This often happens, not just with OpenOffice. To fix it: 1. Disconnect your computer completely from the internet (pull the modem plug from the phone socket or disconnect the LAN cable) 2. Turn off (disable) your AV software 3. Run the installation procedure 4. Turn on your AV software 5. Re-connect to the internet. Never leave you computer connected to the internet if you AV software is not running properly. If this doesn't work, come back here and tell us exactly what you did and what happened, including the text of any error messages. -- Harold Fuchs London, England Please reply *only* to [email protected] **************Ideas to please picky eaters.
