It should have placed an icon on the desktop for the downloaded file.
Double click that icon. It will unpack the installation files and put them in
a folder on the desktop as well. After it does this, the installation of
OpenOffice should begin. If installation does not begin, open the
installation folder and look for setup.exe. If necessary, double click it to
begin the installation. After the installation is complete, you will find an
OpenOffice.org folder in your Start Menu (Start > All Programs for XP). This
folder has the shortcuts to the applications in OOo.
