I recently switched over from Windows to Ubuntu. There were some documents I was working on in Windows with OpenOffice and I've been editing one today. I noticed some of the fonts within the document differ, though they should all be the same (Times New Roman) Instead they showed as Verdana. But when I select all the text and try to format the font, none of the standard fonts show up. There is no Times New Roman, no Courier New, nothing I'm familiar with. what gives? Is there someplace I can get more standardized fonts. A lot of publishers I deal with want TNR or CN, not some some unknown font that may not even be on their system.
