Dear Sirs,

I have installed "Open Office" and created a paper. However,
when I try to "export" Latex .tex files for a small test case .doc or
my paper the export process aborts. I get a "cryptic message",
"Error saving the document "xxxx": Write Error The file could not
be written". ??????????

Same problem occurs with BibTex .bib files. PDF and .doc WORD
extensions among others work just fine..... What do you suggest ???
I include my exported .doc and .pdf files as proof. The input was
TEST03.doc attached as well.

Best,

What OS are you using? What version of OpenOffice?

I'm using a MAC, and OO 2.4 (beta I think), and I just exported several OO docs (one was/is 36 pages) to .bib with no problems.
