I have recently purchased a new computer with Open Office already
installed. After writing a couple of letters, I decided to try and print the addresses on some envelopes, but I found the facility is not available on Open Office Writer and I wonder why! On my old machine operating with XP Home, the printing envelopes & labels; was under the Tools menu. Hoping someone can help with this matter. Yours William Goundry.
Mr. Goundry,Attached is a #10 envelope, I do not remember where I got it, but it works pretty well.
Generally you insert into your document the envelope with INSERT => ENVELOPE. I suggest that you print first on plain paper to see how the formatting works, before you waste envelops until you have the placement set up.

Solveig Haugland has an excellent "Everything about envelopes" page at:http://searchenterpriselinux.techtarget.com/tip/0,289483,sid39_gci1146815,00.html but be aware that you will probably have to suffer through an opening flash advertisement before the actual page is presented.
