can do nothing. OO wont quit, I can't shut down the computer
because OO is still open, but when I go to 'Quit OO' it wont quit.
It won't go in the trash. I have looked at the 'install'
instructions but they were written in 2004. I am using an iMac with
Intel and Leopard, which has come out since 2004. Could this be a
Leopard problem? Can anyone help me get OO installed please.
Did you by chance run the application while it was still in the disk
image? If so, i'm afraid there's nothing for it but "Force Quit"
from the Apple menu. The disk image is a 'read-only' device and
won't permit OO to write to it. After that you simply drag the
OpenOffice.org application from the disk image to wherever you'd like
to keep it - typically the Applications folder. The disk image even
has a shortcut to /Applications within it. Just drag the app over
the picture of the folder and let go.
