I am using version X.P of OpenOffice.org . My problem is : I have a text with some names that are one under another and i want to know if there is an option to arrange them one next to the other.
ex: problem problem , office , chair , window , etc.
     office
     chair
     window
     etc .

Thank you very much and i am waiting for an answer .

1. Select (highlight) the column of data
2. Menu Edit>Find and Replace
3. Click More Options
4. Check the Regular Expressions box
5. In the Find box enter a single $ sign
6. In the Replace With box enter a comma followed by aspace
7. Click Replace All
Done.
The minor "bug" with this method, which is easily corrected, is that the last item in the list will be followed by a comma and a space. Just delete them. Read about Regular Expressions. They are very useful. Here the single $ sign means "end of line".
