If you are looking for announcements about StarOffice (Suns commercial
equivalent of OpenOffice) or other  Sun Microsystem products you may need to
sign up to another mailing list.

There will probably be a bit of activity on this user mailing list of
OpenOffice on the day and immediatly after the release of any updates so
that you become aware that an update for OpenOffice exists.

having just checked the release schedule for OpenOffice 2.4 (The Next

It looks like the release is now set for 20 March 2008.
