Hello,
I have downloaded a copy of open office and I'm having a small problem with
it. When attempting to access a file, I get a prompt recommending activating
the software through the Internet. Apparently it needs some kind of activation
key to do so. Can you write me back and let me know how to make my open office
download a permanent version.
I look forward to hearing from you.
OpenOffice, as obtained from www.openoffice.org, does not require
activation. The only thing is an optional registration. Is that what
you're seeing? If so, you can say you're already registered and ignore
it. If not that, did you buy OpenOffice from someone else who added
that activation?
