Hi,
Have just started my ECDL which uses Microsoft Office 2003.
Will 'Open Office' be compatible with Microsoft Office (and if so,
which version) as I would like to do some of my course on my home pc.
Many thanks,
I have no idea what ECDL is, but OpenOffice can save in Microsoft
Office file formats. Just choose the appropriate file format from the
drop down list, when using Save as, and also ensure automatic file
name extension is selected.
ECDL is certificate that holder can create, manage and delete files in
Operating system environment and to create WordProcessor document,
Spreadsheet, presentiation and simple database.
Each candidate can have a study before exam, but exam is done only in
certificated classroom and classified by certificated person for
Operating system and Office suite. There are few certificated classrooms
for Openoffice.org but majority is for Microsoft Office.
It depends on your choice and certificate of person examinating you
which suite you use for task at exam.
