I have downloaded Openoffice.org 2.3.1 on my desktop (running Windows XP), and on my laptop which is running Windows Vista Premium. I created a file in Openoffice Calc on my desktop. I saved the file to a memory stick so that I could work on the file on my laptop. Initially, all worked well when working between my desktop and laptop. The problem: I can open and work on the file on my desktop without problems. If I move the memory stick to my laptop, I am unable to open the file. I uninstalled Openoffice from my laptop and reinstalled Openoffice.org 2.3.1--all worked well. Until I opened the file on my desktop. I tried again to open the file on my laptop; no luck. Any suggestions???
