I am considering installing OpenOffice and have a question. With iSeries Access, IBM provides an add-in data transfer tool to install with MS Excel that allows you to transfer data from a DB2 database file directly into an Excel spreadsheet. Is there a similar tool available for OpenOffice Calc? The Calc webpage mentioned something called DataPilot. Could someone explain this technology to me? Perhaps it would provide the same functionality as the data transfer tool I'm familiar with.
