Hi
I am using openoffice version 2.3.1. I have recently updated to this version
and previously my document (a book manuscript) was numbered fine under this
version. Now I find the page numbering formatting has gone completely wrong.
I looked up help and followed the example of using headers and footers and
putting the number in the field, but it gives me no other options than
'default' and I can't alter the weird numbering which only goes up to 6 and
then repeats from 1 - 6 again. If I click the default option on, the strange
numbering is there, if I switch it off it disappears. I've been to your FAQ
page but there is nothing there that can help.
Can you please help? I am under constraint to finish this book and I really
don't have the time to mess around with this. It all seems very complicated for
me.
