Thanks again

Before we went ahead with taking users off of Office and putting them on
Open Office I looked into its capabilities and was very impressed. The part
I have to be careful with is the users. They do not like change and do not
want to have to learn new things. That is why I look for the way that is
most like the Microsoft way of doing things.

My ultimate goal is to find the Linux desktop that is most like Windows XP
and start converting workstations to that before I am forced to Vista.
Having them used to Open Office is a step in that direction. Unfortuneatly
there will be a few jobs that are using software that will only run in a
Windows machine. I will attempt to virtual them.

Again, thank you for your feedback.

The icon will send the document as an ISO standard ODF file, which is
fine, if the recipient can open it. Using File > Send gives you other
options, such as Word document or PDF.
