Since I was CC'd on this, I assume you must have been referring to me. I don't believe I said to ONLY download it from OOo's website. I merely pointed out that he wouldn't need p2p if he downloaded from there. Anybody who has ever loaded a web page knows by now that on occasion every site will appear to be 'down' and not load for you or be extremely slow. It's also obvious from some of the posts that come into this list that, while there are a multitude of places where one can download OOo, not all of them are exactly ethical in the way they offer their downloads of OOo. For that very reason, I don't think it's wrong to point people to the 'official' download site.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the purpose of the OOo bouncer is to select one of the primary or mirror sites for the offered download based upon traffic, therefore there would be no specific need to have a separate page for mirrors.
