[users] where's the Mac version?

the link in the 2.4.0 announcement email takes me to a page that  
cheerily advises me to "Click to start downloading OpenOffice.org  
2.4.0 for Mac OSX PPC, (US English version)". then the download fails  
because the version i'm looking for can't be found, and when i look at  
the mirrors there's no mention of any Mac version in any of the  
directories. is this announcement email, in effect, a hoax on Mac  
users?  :(
