Hi
Thanks for the ongoing valuable advice you all provide. I have a new
and rather annoying problem - yesterday I downloaded the OO 2.4
installation file from openoffice.org, and installed the latest open
office version.
Whenever I use the RHS mouse button on the downloaded file
OOo_2.4.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_en-US.exe (eg to copy or move the
file) or generally try to copy or drag this file - I get the following error
"Invalid size or check sum of file or unsupported compression format -
Native error: 00008. File processing error, possibly disk is full"
The disk is not full - there is around 60GB of space. The MD5 Checksum
verification is OK.
This error only occurs with this file, and does not seem to have
affected the installation but I am unsure of whether I should (i) simply
ignore it as Windows arcania or (ii) take some action and if so what.
Grateful for any suggestions
Roland
