Select the picture (left-click) then hold the shift key down and grab any of the green handles; the picture will resize maintaining aspect ratio. > 2) And make it possible to pull the picture in the sides: that will scale > the picture not keeping ratio Don't hold the shift key down! If you grab a side, only the width will change; grab top or bottom, only the height will change; grab a corner and change both at once. Don't forget the picture size is also accessible by right-clicking on the image, Select Picture | Type, and set as needed if you want precision. > > I you feel *opposition against this proposal, maybe just this little thing > could be change:* > 3) A good idea could be to put this as standard: "keep ratio", in handling > pictures inside writer (and presentation), (rigth now you have to manually > change it to keep ratio, but it would be better the other way around) Both are readily available. I doubt whether changing the default would be desirable (although personally I feel it might have been better to maintain aspect ratio by default) -- Permission for this mail to be processed by any third party in connection with marketing or advertising purposes is hereby explicitly denied. http://www.scottsonline.org.uk lists incoming sites blocked because of spam [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mike Scott, Harlow, Essex, England --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
