You'll need to read it to find out. :-) Actually, I hadn't come across it before - first time I'd looked at it was when it was brought up in this thread. I just opened both the Windows version of OOo and and Word/Excel (in WINE as I run linux), created a Word & Excel test document, and then went through the logical process of trying to figure out the problem. You see, it's Friday here and I have *way* too much time on my hands today... The problem with Word not changing via the highlight icon may be an OOo export filter problem. It might be worth someone going through the bug list to find if it's already been filed.
