OpenOffice is a *free* (open source) Office suite that competes with
MicroSoft Office - word processor, spreadsheet, presentation maker,
formula editor, drawing software and database manager. It does not
include a mail program. Many people use Thunderbird. Free from
"www.mozilla.org". It can import messages, address book etc. from
Outlook or Outlook Express and OpenOffice can use its address book for
mail merge.
