Thanks for the help.  I still have the problem.  I can select a sentence
with three clicks.  I can then delete that sentence.  But I still cannot go
back to the previous sentence or to the beginning of selected sentence.  In
Word, I select sentence (by F8 three time), then <esc> to turn off extension
mode, then I can left arrow to go to beginning or right arrow to go to next.

I also do not know how to build the three clicks done with a mouse into a
macro.  I will try to record my actions and edit the Basic for Writer to see
how it handles that command/language.
