Hello,

Openoffice does weird numerotations. Attached I have copied a part of
the original document.

As you can see, in line 157, the NUMBER in the second colum is on the
bottom but in line 160 and 164 it is on the top.

And all numbers in the first column are on the top...

What I want is that ALL number should be ALWAYS on top.

I have the problem on my Laptop with Debian/Sarge and OOO 1.1, on
Debian/Etch with 2.2 and on my Debian/Testing with 2.4. Since 3.0 does
not work on my Debian/Sid (crash while installing and makes damages on
my ext3 FileSystem) I am very disappointed about the current quality.

Back in the days where a Linux-Installation was a killer, StarOffice 5.2
was 1000 times more stable...

Hell, how does OOO choose where to begin a line?

And why is there no alignment Right/Top if I choose "Number Recognition"
since without "Right/Top" it does not make sense...

E.g. imagine I have e text of 1000 lines in the 3rd column and must
scroll down 30 pages to see the "Application Note" number...

As more as I MUST work with OOo I hate it...

And NO, 3.0 is NO soulution (and same for 2.4) because I am working
@customer and I have no rught to install anything there and I would not
recommend it since they crash all the time...

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day
