!!!!! Michelle, I'm afraid this is not correct. Your e-mail address [EMAIL PROTECTED] is *not* subscribed to this list and you will therefore not get replies if they are not cc'd to you.

And HOW you you think, do I read this list? -- Maybe Telepathie?

I am subscribed with TWO emails, this public one and one which is
SPAMFREE to get the messages off the list... :-)

Note: I get since monday 2008-03-10 arround 87.000 Spams per day
        on <linux4michelle> and I get only messages from peoples I
        have already whitelisted...
<snip>
Michelle, the difficulty is that most of us look at the message headers (directly or through e-mail filters) for a part that says Delivered-To: moderator for [EMAIL PROTECTED] That means the user sending the message is not recognized as being subscribed to the list, and we try to cc the unsubscribed user to be helpful and keep them from missing replies. You are apparently sending messages to the list from an unsubscribed account, but viewing the list through a different account, which is subscribed. If you sent messages from the subscribed account, you would not be cc'ed. As is, it's confusing us and apparently irritating you! Is the problem that you're afraid posting from that account would result in its becoming a spam target? I didn't notice any increase in spam after starting to participate in this list, nor has it been getting worse, and I use this account for just about everything. I think that if I were you, I'd kill the horribly spammed [EMAIL PROTECTED] account and start using the subscribed account for this list (and send its address to the whitelisted accounts). Or you could try telling freenet.de to get its act together and put in a decent spam filter! I can't imagine why they haven't already done so, certainly there are plenty of ISPs that do a pretty good job on this.

Motion seconded. If I get 3 spams in a day to this email account it's a lot. And Googlemail filters them out *very* effectively.
