The list should show if you turn off form design mode by clicking on the the form design icon on either the Form Controls toolbar or on the Form Design toolbar. The green handle boxes on the list box control will disappear. Click on arrow on the right side of the list box and the box will open to reveal your list.
Forms gadgets won’t work when you are in Form Design mode which is for creating these gadgets and modifying them, not for testing them. To test them you must be in normal mode.
