i have Windows XP Svc Pack 2
i have another question...
does openoffice.org offer an "outlook express" likeness?
i have a stuck email that freezes my outlook express
all that i've tried to do to delete it doesn't work
seems like the only thing would be to put everything but that email in a folder
save it and then delete the whole business
then reinstall outlook express or it's likeness (ie: from openoffice.org?)
just a thought.
thanks for your time,
lailja ware

How do i do that?

The clue is in the file extension. It is .XLSX, which is the new Microsoft Office 2007 format, which OpenOffice cannot yet open. You'll have to arrange to have that file saved in the older .XLS format. Alteratively, if you only want to read that file, you could install the free Microsoft Excel Viewer & Compatibility, available from here:

Excel 2003 Viewer and Compatibility Pack:
