I was printing labels using the data. Initially, all the labels turned

Interesting... For this next test I didn't use mailmerge, but instead
just created a new label document (File|New|Labels) and found that if I
use "Zip" the <zip> field appears properly. However, if I use "P.C.", I
end up with an empty <> field.
Probably worth filing a bug (the honor goes to he/she that posted first
:-) as I can't seem to find a related one already filed (so far).
BTW, it is issue #88365. Perhaps you can confirm it there.
