I have two questions.
First ... I just completed a weekly scan with
Eset NOD32. The following three items were
detected. I don't know if it is a possible issue
with NOD32 or, if fact, there is something
not right with OpenOffice. The three items are:
C:\Program Files\Open Office\OpenOffice.org
2.4\program\python-core-2.3.4\lib\test\testtar.tar » TAR » - archive damaged
C:\Program Files\Open Office\OpenOffice.org 2.4
(en-US) Installation
Files\openoffice.org-pyuno.cab » CAB » testtar.tar » TAR » - archive damaged
E:\Temp
Downloads\OOo_2.4.0_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_en-US.exe
» NSIS » openoffice.org-pyuno.cab » CAB »
testtar.tar » TAR » - archive damaged
NOD32 is logging these as "archive damaged". The
third item is where I downloaded and
saved the installer program directly from
OpenOffice online. Are these items okay?
Second ... I have noticed that there are two
files/directories on my C:\ regarding OpenOffice. They are
C:\Program Files\Open Office\OpenOffice.org 2.4 (en-US) Installation Files and
C:\Program Files\Open Office\OpenOffice.org 2.4.
The question here is ... once OpenOffice has been
installed can the "Installation Files" be deleted?
Please advise.
Thanks for listening.
r,
Mike
